Peal is an instrumental trio from the The Hague area. They have been around for many many years doing shows and releases occassionally. Their music has been described as the perfect soundtrack for a chasing scene. Although this description sells them short, it gives you an idea what this band is about. The relentless riffing, carried out with surgical accuracy makes for a suffocating listening experience. Just like their two predecessors, the new EP Peal III contains only a handful of songs, four in this case. Releasing songs in small batches is a delibarate choice by the band to not exhaust the listener to much. Peal III is the heaviest and most ‘hardrock’ Peal EP to date. It will be released by Narrominded in the fall. A Peal artist page on our site is under construction, in the meanwhile you can visit their Myspace where you can listen to their previous EP Brachland.
