Eight years after releasing his renowned Narrominded Split LP with Legowelt, Garçon Taupe returned with the acid drenched EP The White Spider on the Enfant Terrible sublabel Gooiland Elektro in 2017. It sold out at Enfant Terrible headquarters within three months and is now succeeded by Kiklop EP through his home base Narrominded. Stylistically, Kiklop EP follows the tracks of the Split LP with it’s typical mix of electro beats, eighties synths and acid. The B-side offers some serious dance floor material with Dok, followed by the slower and dirtier title track. The record will appeal to fans of DMX Krew, Ceephax Acid Crew and the Westcoast Sound of Holland. It was mastered by Ma Spaventi.

Roaming around in the Dutch underground since 2001, Garçon Taupe contributed tracks to compilation albums on Narrominded, Esc.Rec. and Top Notch. His debut Wittenburg EP brought a mix of italo, synthpop, electro and acid and appeared in 2009 as part of Narrominded Split LP #4, with compatriot Legowelt taking care of the flipside. Opening track Lobo grabbed some attention and was voted ‘Dance Track of the Year’ by the visitors of the now defunct music website Eclectro. In 2017, Garçon Taupe released the acid drenched EP The White Spider on the Enfant Terrible sublabel Gooiland Elektro. It sold out at the Enfant Terrible head quarters within three months and is now succeeded with Kiklop EP through his home base Narrominded. Until 2007, Garçon Taupe was bass player in the (still active) noise rock outfit Gone Bald, a band that by then had released seven albums on a.o. Interstellar Records and Narrominded, and played tons of shows in underground venues throughout Europe.
