Mister Spoelstra will embark on a tour of International Cities of Big Importance this weekend. On Friday night he will play a gig in The Hague, the International City of Peace and Justice. The next day he will do a show in Erfurt, the birth place of that other musical genius. On Sunday Spoelstra will play in Berlin, the International Capitol of Hipsters and after a day of rest he will arrive in Leipzig, the International Capitol of Gothic Parties. The last day of his tour will see Spoelstra playing Rostock, the main port of call of the MS Stubnitz. That is exactly the place where Spoelstra will play, so this is your chance to see the man on a boat. After that Spoelstra will drive the lonely autobahn back home, to the International City of Cheese with Cumin Seeds.

Check the post tour memorabilia here and read a message from the band below.

From April 30 until May 8 Boutros Bubba will play about eight shows between Ter Apel en Barcelona. Fortunately for them, most of the shows are closer to Barcelona than Ter Apel, so it should be a lot of fun. Cities they will visit: Lille (Fr) – Bergerac (Fr) – St. Etienne (Fr) – Vitoria Gasteiz (Esp) – Barcelona (Esp)Â - Girona (Esp) – Montpellier (Fr). Expect many new songs, ’cause the band is preparing for new recordings in August. So, if they are playing in your town, remember: Boutros Bubba is more scared of you than you are of them. Just come and say hi and don’t forget to bring your wallet!
Boutros Bubba is back from their UK tour. On request of MusicFrom.nl they kept a journal during their week on the road. You can read the final result and look at some pictures here. If you want to see more tour pictures, check the Narrominded diary page here.
