Hunter Complex is set to play two dates at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. The first one will be at the presentation of the book SKG: kunst, muziek & terreur 1978-1981, written by Martijn Haas, on Monday December 20 2010. The book is a reconstruction of a cultural ‘terrorist night’ on December 20 1980 at the Paradiso. Besides Hunter Complex the band The Don’t Touch My Croque Monsieurs will perform.
The second date is Friday December 24 2010 on the presentation of the cd Christmas Cover Up. Other artists that will perform that night are: Cloudmachine, Jaap Boots & de Natte Honden, Roald van Oosten & band, Specs Hildebrand, We Cook With Fire, DJ Santjan. The program Shouting Boots on Radio 6, hosted by Jaap Boots en Koen Schouten, played the track The Big Ship by Coen Oscar Polack from the upcoming release Retro Retry 2: Another Another Green World, a remake of Brian Eno’s masterpiece Another Green World (1975). The track was requested by DJ Guuzbourg, who was on the radio show to promote the cd Gainsnord, a tribute to the French singer Serge Gainsbourg. Listen to the fragment in the player below.
