As you can see in the videos and read in this review by 3voor12, Fine China Superbone blew everyone away at their Make-Machine release party at TodaysArt in The Hague. One of the tracks from Make-Machine ended up on 3voor12 Hollandse Nieuwe. The reviews of their album are also coming in slowly. Subjectivisten says ‘they bring loud music in its pure essence’ and Dark Entries recommends this album to ‘anyone who has an apetite for Steve Albini noise’. Good things come in small packages. While Katadreuffe is currently recording a second EP, to be released late 2010 or early 2011, they give you the track Cut-Up Comfort. This track was originally released on VPRO 3voor12′s third Hollandse Nieuwe compilation in January 2010 and is now available as a free mp3 and FLAC download. The beautiful artwork was done by Gunnar van Eenige. They will officially present this little gem next Friday August 27 at the Narrominded 10 Year Anniversary party at De Nieuwe Anita, Amsterdam.
Besides giving one great show after another, Katadreuffe also has spent some time in the studio. Later this year they will release some new material on Narrominded. The song Cut Up Comfort on 3voor12′s Hollandse Nieuwe 3 compilation is a taster of what is coming. And damn, it tastes good.
