After abstract electronics, IDM and avant-jazz on the first three editions, both artists on this LP are deeply rooted in electro music. Legowelt explores it’s darker sides in the four atmospheric tracks comprising his Land Rovers in Astrophics EP. Spacy, rocking, obscure and instantly recognizable as Legowelt. Garçon Taupe throws some acid and disco in the mix on his side. Eighties drum machines and heavy basslines pave the way for some rather cheerful and unpretentious melodies on his Wittenburg EP, mixed to tape at Rude 66′s Triple Six Lounge studio.
