Garçon Taupe's music is heavily influenced by the electro sound of the 1980s, incorporating vintage synths and drum computers as well as cheap software and toy keyboards. Since 2001 Garçon Taupe occasionally plays gigs in the Netherlands. In 2002, two Taupe tracks appeared on Narrominded compilation album We're Running Out Of West, that also featured tracks of artists like Living Ornaments, Pete Namlook, Duplo Remote, Bedouin Ascent and Hydrus. In 2008 he contributed a track to Kubus & BangBang's Learning Curve Remixed album released on Top Notch. From 2002 to 2007, Gararçon Taupe was bassplayer in noiserock band Gone Bald, a band that has released eight albums on a.o. Interstellar Records and Narrominded, and played tons of shows in underground venues throughout Europe.links
