With Phonica, the Dutch label esc.rec. and MobileVideoNet have released the first interactive audiovisual release for mobile phones ever! When installed on your phone, sounds and imagery of the six pieces respond to battery status, signal strenth and time. Our own Garçon Taupe delivered a work called Taupe Soundcloud. As the battery of your phone loses power, weather conditions become worse and the sounds get more hectic. The works on Phonica can be downloaded or ordered via SMS (Netherlands only).
